Special brushes
- various shapes of the brushes whether they are punched or glued
- in most cases a special furnishing material is used (heat resistant or in combination with an abrasive material)
- HiT - brushes form a separate group, they’re made from a special heat resistant fibre
HiT – brushes
HiT – brushes are made from a special heat resistant fibre. The brushes are capable of working under temperatures of around 200 ºC on a long-term basis. In the fibres the abrasive material (diamond or SiC) can be sealed tightly and evenly, with the grain size of abrasive material from #80 up to #15000. The characteristics of grinding stone and brush can be combined with polishing aggregate SA 100 B..
The brushes are ideal for use in manufacturing
- drum units
- anilox rolls (special ceramic coating)
- shafts
- pistons and piston rods
- wire (cleaning and finishing)
- rollers into rolling mills
- other applications such as deburring
Brushes offer the following advantages
- multiple lifespan (up to 10 times longer in comparison with a diamond belt)
- self-cleaning tool effect (HiT brush)
- contours finishing with a partly shaped tool
- the tools options in density and size of abrasive grains
- self-grinding effect thanks to the continually placed grains
- permanent operation under temperatures of around 200 ºC, also suitable for dry applications
- precise pressure check – SA 100 B
- process repeatability
- significant costs reduction (only 4% - 10%) in comparison with diamond belts
